Steve's 25th Birthday!!!

Yesterday, (Feb. 3rd), was Steve's birthday. We had originally planned to go skiing but due to the horribly cold weather we decided not to go. The day started with our tradition of eating breakfast in bed. We have had this tradition ever since we got married and enjoy starting our Birthday day off with a breakfast made by our loved one. I made Steve eggs, hash-browns, french toast, yogurt, and banana with Nutella. Steve said that he wanted a relaxing day for his birthday so after playing two games of Madden on his PS3, he went down and got an hour massage. After returning from his heavenly massage we played four games of Settlers of Catan (we each won two, so we called it a draw). Then Jerry and Virgina (Steve's parents) took us out for dinner. DINNER WAS AMAZING!!!! We went to a Japanese restaurant called Hanabi!!! They cook your food on a grill right in front of you. They even throw the food up in the air and you have to catch it in your mouth. I normally am not a huge Japanese food person but at this restaurant I became a Japanese food NUT! I LOVED IT!!! Then we came back to our place and had cake with his favorite frosting (Rainbow Chip)...yes, he knows he is weird, but that is why I love him so. Steve ended his birthday by talking to one of his best friends, Pierre (who now plays professional football in Canada), and listing and reading all the messages from his family who called or texted him. Friends, family, food, entertainment, and love... you can't get much better than that.
